A powerful, concentrated and rich wine which is firm and well structured with its best years yet to come.
Tasting notes
色調は深みのあるえんじ色で、ワインの縁（ふち）はやや明るい赤色。黒系果実を思わせる情熱的な香り。最高に楽しめる年には至ってないが、構成がしっかりして要素のバランスが良いワイン。力強く、果実味が凝縮られ、豊かな風味がある。若々しい活力がみなぎっているワインで、タンニンと酸味が徐々に程よく混ざり合ってきている。すでに丸みを帯び、今飲み頃だが、さらに数年間保管することもできる。ディキャントすると、ワインの良さを堪能できる。
The wine has a profound dark red color with tinges of a lighter red on the edges. Intense nose of black fruits. A powerful, concentrated and rich wine which is firm and well structured with its best years yet to come. The wine still has plenty of youthful vigor. The tannins and acidity are by now well integrated. It is already well rounded and ready to be drunk now but will keep for many more years. Decanting it will enhance the pleasure. Serve at 18-20°C.

2005 - 南西地方、ベルジュラック : 10 / 10 (exceptional)
格別なヴィンテージ。年間通して、ずっと理想的な気候条件でした。雨が少ない春に続いて、（暑すぎない）乾燥して日照に恵まれた夏と秋でしたが、たまにわずかな雨が降りました。ブドウは滑らかなタンニンが豊富な、果皮の厚い小粒で均整の良い形に育ち、完熟しました。深みのある色調。構成の良いワインは、濃厚な果実味あふれる豊かな香りで、ほどよい酸味があり、その酸味が数十年間の新鮮さと優雅さを約束しています。
2005 - Sud-Ouest Bergerac : 10 / 10 (exceptional)
An exceptional vintage. Ideal climatic conditions throughout the year. Light rain in spring was followed by a sunny and dry (but not excessively hot) summer and autumn, interspersed by occasional light rain. The grapes ripened fully, were small, tightly packed and with a hard skin, rich in smooth tannins. The wines are structured, concentrated, deeply coloured and flavourfull, with the right degree of acidity to assure freshness and elegance for many decades.

なめらかなアタック、果実味と酸味とのバランスが心地よく、タンニンはまだ若いが、ほどよいストラクチャーを形成している
The tannins are still young, they are well structured. The wine has volume and power and is well balanced overall.
Tasting notes
色調は明るめのルビー色、縁はピンク色。ハツラツとした力強さを感じる香りは、よく熟したカシス、ブラックベリー、ブラックチェリー、ロースト香、スパイス香などが調和し、若々しさも感じる。なめらかなアタック、果実味と酸味とのバランスが心地よく、タンニンはまだ若いが、ほどよいストラクチャーを形成している。ボリューム感もある、バランスのよいミディアム〜フルボディ。
The colour is a bright ruby with a pink edge. The powerful and firm bouquet is still youthful and a mixture of ripe cassis, blackberry, black cherry, roast and spice incense. The attack is smooth with fruit flavours. The acidity is pleasant and well integrated. The tannins are still young, they are well structured. The wine has volume and power and is well balanced overall. It is a medium to full bodied wine to drink now or later.

2009 - 南西地方、ベルジュラック : 10 / 10 (exceptional)
2009年は並外れだが格別なヴィンテージでした。完璧な開花後、9月の遅い収穫期まで雨が降らず日照に恵まれた気候が続きました。そのため、ブドウの糖度はとても高くなりました。後になって、多少の雨が過度なブドウの木のストレスを和らげました。9月末までにタンニンはしっかりと熟成しました。まろやかで豊富なタンニンと長期間ワインを良い状態で保つ酸味のある、豊満で複雑味と果実味が濃縮された風味豊かな、とにかく美味しいワインです。
2009 - Sud-Ouest Bergerac : 10 / 10 (exceptional)
An unusual but exceptional vintage. Perfect flowering was followed by dry, sunny weather until the harvest late in September. Sugar levels in the grapes were very high. Some late rain helped not to stress the vines excessively. By the end of September the tannins too had ripened. The wines simply are delicious, opulent, complex, concentrated rich in fruit, with soft, rich tannins and with a well-integrated acidity to make them last a long time.
