シャトー・サン・レミは、“ブドウ畑レミ・ルースロ(Vignobles Remy Rousselot)”を構成しているいくつかのシャトーの一つです。この家族が代々受け継いできたエステイトは、フロンサック及びラランド・ド・ポムロール アペラシオンにあるブドウ畑で成り立っています。シャトー・サン・レミはフロンサックの石灰岩の最も高い台地にあります。つまり、難しい年でさえも、卓越した栽培環境を提供しているのです。

フロンサック アペラシオンは19ヘクタールの地域に及んでいますが、アペラシオン ラランド・ポムロールは3ヘクタールで成り立っています。フロンサックのエステイトでは、メルロー（80％）、カベルネ・フラン（15％）さらにカベルネ・ソーヴィニヨン（5％）のブドウ品種が栽培されています。一方、ラランド・ポムロールのエステイトではメルロー（85％）とカベルネ・フラン（15％）です。

土壌の薄い地殻で覆われた石灰岩の断崖にあるシャトーの恵まれた立地が、ミネラル分の高い、色調の濃い、果実味あふれるアロマとこなれたタンニンのあるワインを造ります。また、そのワインはよく熟成する可能性も持っています。

Chateau Saint Remy is one of several chateaux which constitute the "Vignobles Remy Rousselot". This family owned estate, passed from one generation to the next, is made up of vineyards located in the appellations Fronsac and Lalande de Pomerol. Chateau Saint Remy is situated on the highest plateau of limestone in Fronsac and as such provides excellent growing conditions, even in difficult years.

The Fronsac appellation covers an area of 19 hectares while the appellation Lalande-Pomerol consists of 3 hectares. On the Fronsac estates 80 % Merlot, 15 % Cabernet Franc and 5 % Cabernet Sauvignon grapes are grown while the Lalande-Pomerol estate is made up of 85 % Merlot and 15 % Cabernet Franc.

The priviledged location of the chateau on a limestone cliff covered by a thin crust of soil produces wines with a high mineral content, a deep colour, expressive fruity aromas, round tannins and the ability to mature well.
